"The Birth of the Body, the Origin of History"

Modern research into the earliest interactions between an infant entering the living world and those who inhabit it leads me to the following hypothesis: isolated stimuli registered by our sensory receptors will - thanks to the quality and intensity of arousal but more so owing to the moment of encounter between the zone and stimulus - serve as a source of sensory experience capable of filling all zones. The pleasure or suffering of one area becomes the pleasure or suffering of all senses.

If we confine ourselves solely to this representative process, then we understand: an object exists psychologically only due to its unique power to modify the sensory (including somatic) response and hence impact psychological experience. That is, the first observation is such: in the initial construction, the results of meetings take the place of the meeting itself.

...the second observation: pleasure or suffering, which the psyche imagines as self-generated, is a "psychic existent", anticipating and pre-announcing the appearance of an object - the mother.

...The third observation is such: before the gaze encounters another (or the mother), the psyche meets itself and is reflected in the signs of life, emitted by its own body.
